It was a joy to host UWEEI x e2i’s ‘Reimagining Tomorrow: AI, Innovation and Workforce Transformation’, attended by close to 100 business leaders, SME owners and HR practitioners from the semiconductor and electronics sector.
I also worked with the amazing team to design and moderate the panel discussion: The AI Journey: From Concept to Deployment — unpacking the real payoff of AI adoption, what their respective transformation journeys actually looked like – including proactively partnering employees along the way.
My personal takeaways from the panel for both enterprises and change leaders?
- Show the wins to every individual contributor and leader – career pathway and compensation – through a paced and phased approach.
- Couple each phase of the roll-out with the right upskilling and actual career mobility (internal matching included), so those wins can actually be realised, not just promised.
- Build a culture where people see themselves as co-creators with AI, not bystanders to it.
And yes, I also had my first dance with a humanoid robot by the AI solutions partners booths!
