A throwback to 11 November’s hosting and moderating a very insightful and engaging panel discussion with the panelists and audience at the Hospitality & Consumer Business Symposium. It was privilege be invited by MPA, with SMOU, to moderate a panel discussion at the Maritime Manpower Forum on 28 Mar 2025.
Panel members Jotaro Tamura (MOL Asia Oceania), Mark O Neil (Columbia Group), Max Lim (DBS Bank), Marco Maimone (Microsoft ASEAN) and I touched on thoughts and approaches from within the maritime sector and from adjacent sectors on building a stronger maritime workforce.
Great work is being done by MPA, SMOU, Tripartite partners and the industry to bring maritime workforce ahead.
As mentioned by MOS Murali Pillai, Singapore is a nation of seafarers. And it is up to all to come together to take the success to to the next level.
